250 Years: Semiquincentennial Celebration Downtown Lansing

Downtown Lansing will celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a full day of community events, live music, and fireworks during the Semiquincentennial Celebration on July 3.

The celebration begins with the Independence Day Parade at 11am around the Capitol Loop, followed by the 1776–2026 American Music Tour concert on the Capitol Steps at noon.

A downtown block party at Lugnuts Stadium kicks off at 4pm., leading into the evening’s 4th of July Concert at Adado Riverfront Park beginning at 7pm. featuring the Lansing Concert Band and the USAF Roots in Blue Band.

The evening will conclude with fireworks over the riverfront at 10pm.
