Rhythm in the Park Series - 496 West

Join us for the August installment of the Rhythm in the Park Series at Fish Ladder Music Park featuring Lansing's own 496 West.

Known as one of Mid-Michigan's premier live bands, 496 West delivers an unforgettable blend of smooth jazz, R&B, soul, blues, and gospel-inspired sounds. Featuring soulful vocals, a dynamic horn section, powerful musicianship, and a rich mix of original music and crowd-favorite covers, the band has built a reputation for captivating audiences throughout Michigan and beyond.

Over the years, 496 West has shared stages with nationally recognized jazz artists including Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, Norman Brown, Euge Groove, and Phil Perry while performing at festivals, cultural celebrations, and community events across the region.

BMRW Promotions, based in Lansing, MI, produces live music events, specializing in the annual "An Evening of Smooth Jazz" series. They promote national and local jazz artists, including 496 West, to educate and entertain audiences in the Michigan community. They also offer live entertainment for private events, weddings, and corporate gatherings.

All ages are welcome! Bring a lawn chair, gather your friends and family, and enjoy an afternoon of outstanding live music along the riverfront.
